Meditation on the Harmony that Comes from Living in Alignment with Your True Self and Purpose

What lights you up inside?  What gets your heart going pitter patter and thoughts racing in the most glorious of ways?  What passions blaze in your soul?  What would get you out of bed in the morning with a smile?  I ask these questions, because when we live with purpose, when we go about our days aligned with and acting from our beautiful heartfelt desires, life gets FANTASTIC for both us and everyone we meet!  In “The War of Art” Steven Pressfield writes: “Our job in this lifetime is not to shape ourselves into some ideal we imagine we ought to be, but to find out who we already are and become it.”

While, personally I think we’re all here to love and be loved in glorious ways, there’s billions of variations on that theme.  We each have a unique gift to give the world.  The key, I think, is to realize and live in alignment with who you’ve been all along, the you beyond achievements, jobs, positions, and possessions.  A helpful yogic system for living a purposefully aligned and incredibly blissful life are the 7 chakras.

Broadly speaking, these energy centers can be grouped by your connection to self, connection to others, and connection to Spirit, something Bigger than you and I.  As best I can tell, my life mission is to awaken, open to, and Be LOVE together!  So, the more I relate to myself, others, and the Divine in line with this, the more beautiful and harmonious life gets.  With all that said, wherever today finds you on the path to finding out and becoming who you already are; I invite you to wildly love who you are and move, speak, act, play, eat, drink, and love more in alignment with your true self and purpose … the ease and bliss it brings is incredible!

Grace and peace,
