Mental Space Makes Room for Grace

Sometimes I’ll half-jokingly, with a straight face say, “I am Ironman.” Partly because after my nearly fatal hiking accident in 2008, the doctors had to use metal bits to put my head back together, and also because I’m a bit of a geek. 🙂 That said, I’d say in a real and powerful way: YOU are Ironman!  You know how in the conclusion of Endgame, as the Avengers are fighting the big bad Thanos, after the villain says, “I am inevitable”, Ironman replies, “and I am Ironman”, before snapping his finger to use the power of the Infinity Stones to save the day?

Similar to how Ironman drew on the power of the Stones for the benefit of others, you can plug your heart into Big Love. Not only were you created from Divine Love, that same Love that birthed the universe invites us to let it fill and move through us for the benefit of all. I’m not talking about some pie in the sky, abstract ideal, but from tangible, practical experience. You see, when we engage in practices that release our cares, stresses, to-dos, worries, fears, plans, and other things taking up space in our minds, we make room for Light and Love to fill and move through us. Whether it’s yoga, meditation, prayer, or any other practice where we can declutter our minds, the effect is the same: Mental space makes room for grace.

Love that blesses, benefits, and beautifies is both your origin story and superpower. So, here’s to “unplugging” our heads and moving more into our hearts!

Hugs & Love,

Lang
